Valencia, or Val as she's sometimes called, was born in a realm known as Hedix. The realm itself is home to several lush beaches, beautiful palm trees, and a variety of exotic fruits. The climate is usually humid year round, though every now and then snowfall occurs. Culture-wise the people of Hedix are a festive bunch, and always throw grand celebrations in honor of their heritage and history. The realm is also a prime vacation spot for the wealthy who are looking to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Valencia is a pretty calm individual. She tries not to make a fuss about insignificant things and generally keeps her head down at Alfea. This isn't to say she isn't approachable, however. She just really prefers her peace and quiet more than most, perhaps. It takes some prodding from others to get her to join in on the fun so to speak. Furthermore she has a dislike for labels. To her it doesn't matter whether a person is a witch or a fairy; as long as they don't actively do anything to tick her off she has no beef or vendetta against them. Heck, for awhile she even considered enrolling in Cloud Tower (that is, until her mother freaked out and forbade her to),

Her powers are what's known as thermokinesis. They allow her to manipulate the motion of molecules, causing a change in temperature in the immediate vacinity. Her primary attack involves forming a sphere of heat energy that can be hurled at people or objects. When they come into contact with their intended target they proceed to burst, sizzling and popping in a manner similar to that of fireworks. While not very subtle, her heat spheres get the job done by knocking back/blinding/stunning enemies and destroying barriers.

As an added bonus she's a pretty good fighter thanks to the amount of battle classes she's taken at Alfea. There is still tons of room for improvement, however, which means she won't be kicking butt and taking names just yet.
